4 players run for wood and nails, each would then need to gather resources for 16.4 ladder pieces: 4 planks x 16.4 x 3 = 198 wood, and 16.4 x 10 = 164 nails. And this is not just possible, but quite easy. 24000 ladder pieces built can be done in about 1 year real world's time, by a group of dedicated players running the map for resources: played every day, the group would need to build an average of 65.7 ladder pieces every real world's play day. While extremely large, resources required to build 60 km high are not out of the realm of possible. I think you can only achieve to build that high is when you cheat and I'm not planning on doing that. I was wondering about is while I was planning to build an elevator. One of most desired resources for any person who seeks to build very high - is rotten meat. If we then consider "1 floor" being 2.5 meters high, and build only r-shaped ladders for maximum height gain per piece, then you can technically build as high as 24000 x 2.5 = So, if absolutely nothing is built except the ladder parts, then the technical limit would be 1200 / 0.05 = 24000 ladder pieces built. Each non-interactive part (such as a ladder piece) consumes 0.05 complexity points, and the maximum is 1200. The practical limiting factor is only availability / time needed to gather required matherials. On top of that ladder, lowest temperature i managed to get to see - was -312☌. There were no heat packs back then, though, too. This was done nearly 2 years ago, when cold damage was not re-worked into how it works now - it was killing with the same speed regardless of how frosty it is - and rather slowly. It was made of nearly 2000 wooden pieces. I once built a ladder up well over 1 km high (note, mountains in the game are _very_ low, barely 100 meters high from "sea" level or so).
